1941.
15th May, 1942, squadron was
redesignated the 100th Fighter Squadron.

100th Fighter Squadron inactivated 19th
Oct, 1945.
Squadron reactivated, 1st July, 1947.
Squadron finally inactivated 1st July, 1949.

P-40L Warhawk
P-47D Thunderbolt

P-51B/C and D variants.

Theatres of Combat:
MTO and ETO (Mediterranean and
European Theatre of Operations
from the 19th Feb, 1944 to the 26th
April, 1945.

Served in the following campaigns:
Rome-Arno, Normandy, both Northern and Southern France, North Apennines, Rhineland, Central
Europe, Po Valley, Air Combat; EAME Theater.

Squadron Decorations:
Distinguished Unit Citation for: actions over Germany on the 24th March, 1945
