About the Artist

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a passion for the arts; whether it
was fine art, creative writing, film or theatre, it’s always been part of my life.

I must have been ten or so when I began drawing aircraft, tanks and other
scenarios from World War 2. It actually worried my parents somewhat, but
as it happens, I don’t think it did me too much damage, although I’m sure
acquaintances will beg to differ!

When I’m not working, much of my free time is spent creating art. It seemed a
shame to keep it tucked away in a folder, so family and friends persuaded me to
keep this site as a way of displaying my completed paintings, drawings, and
occasionally showing works I’m undertaking.

Although I’m not a business, some of my original paintings can be purchased,
and in some circumstances, I will take on private commissions.

Organisations and art groups to which I belong:

American Society of Aviation Artists
Wet Canvas

Projects completed and future goals:

I’m honoured to have been chosen to create the artwork adorning the at least
three book-jackets thus far, all of which are historical aviation publications.

It gives me great pride that many WW2 veterans / enthusiasts / art collectors
have chosen my original art to hang on their walls.

Something I must complete is my World War 2 novel, a work of faction that
has so far stretched over a six years! This is my goal for 2008.

Along with contributions and permission from others, I’ve managed to begin
creating,
The 332nd Fighter Group Tribute within this website.

This site is a labour of love, so any feedback is greatly appreciated.
